Rideshare rental allows drivers working with platforms such as Uber or DiDi to rent a vehicle that is approved for rideshare use. Instead of purchasing a vehicle, you simply rent one from Network Rentals and use it for your rideshare driving.

Drivers must hold a valid Australian driver's licence and meet the eligibility requirements of the rideshare platform they intend to drive for, such as Uber or DiDi. Drivers must also meet Network Rentals' standard rental requirements and agree to the rideshare rental terms prior to collection. Yes. All rideshare rentals require a security bond equivalent to four weeks rent or a minimum of $2,000, whichever is greater. The bond is refundable at the end of the rental provided all terms of the rental agreement are met.

Yes. A one-time setup fee of $250 applies to rideshare rentals. This covers vehicle preparation, onboarding and administrative setup. The setup fee is non-refundable.

Rideshare rentals are paid one week in advance at all times. This ensures uninterrupted access to the vehicle while you operate your rideshare services.

Yes, rideshare rentals include a weekly kilometre allowance of 1000KM. Additional kilometres may be charged at a per kilometre rate if the allowance is exceeded. This allows drivers flexibility while ensuring vehicles remain suitable for long-term use. Our team will explain the current kilometre allowance and any excess charges prior to rental commencement.

Yes. Our rideshare vehicles can be used for approved rideshare platforms such as Uber and DiDi, provided the driver meets the platform requirements. Drivers are responsible for ensuring they meet all platform and licensing requirements.

No. All rideshare rentals include comprehensive insurance cover; however, drivers must follow all terms and conditions for coverage to apply. In the event of an accident, drivers must collect accurate third-party details, report incidents promptly, and comply with all rental agreement conditions. Failure to follow these requirements may affect insurance coverage. Full insurance terms will be provided prior to rental commencement, and our team is available to answer any questions.

Vehicles require regular servicing to remain safe and reliable. When servicing is required, we will arrange a time with you to return the vehicle. A loan vehicle may be provided for up to two business days, subject to availability.

Yes. Rideshare rentals require 30 days written notice if you wish to cancel the agreement.

Rideshare rentals are typically designed for longer-term use; however rental periods are flexible depending on availability and driver requirements. Drivers can keep the vehicle for as long as required, provided rental payments remain up to date and the vehicle is maintained in accordance with the rental agreement.
