Mermaid Beach

Best Gold Coast Cafes BSKT Mermaid

BSKT Cafe

When BSKT (pronounced “biscuit”) Cafe opened back in 2013, it pretty much changed everything. Everyone was flocking in their active wear to this new health food restaurant for their Coco Whip, Veganola and Kalenaise, yes, that’s the healthy kale version of hollandaise. The first of it’s kind on the Gold Coast scene, perfectly perched near the ocean in Nobby Beach, the BSKT crew watched as their brand completely blew up. They now have their own brand of protein bars, chocolate and they sell their delicious veganola by the bag. BSKT are also open for lunch and dinner, so why not stay all day and check out their yoga studio too? Click here to view their menu.

Best Gold Coast Bars & Restaurants 8th Ave Terrace Palm Beach

8th Ave Terrace

The Palm Beach bar and dining scene is probably one of the most talked about of late due to new venues popping up at a rapid rate. The lads and ladettes behind one of Palmy’s favourite cafe’s, Espresso Moto, opened their second venture, 8th Ave Terrace, in late 2016. It’s another must-visit. The food, cocktails and service is exceptional, and their espresso martinis are probably the frothiest we’ve ever seen. Their menu is always changing so it’s a good excuse to go back every season. With two dining areas, you’ll have the option of the open air terrace or the upstairs dining room. Now to decide who’s driving…
